Properly constructed and maintained commercial asphalt typically lasts 15-25 years. Regular seal coating, crack sealing, and prompt repair of damage extend pavement life significantly.
Most commercial parking lots require 2-4 inches of hot mix asphalt over 4-8 inches of aggregate base. Heavy truck areas may require thicker sections. We design pavement sections based on expected traffic and soil conditions.
